Operations
Playing a file on a USB device
The audio format that can be played back on this
system is MP3*/WMA*/AAC*.
* On this system, files with DRM (Digital Rights
Management) copyright protection cannot be played
back, and files downloaded from an online music store
may not be played back.

Press USB to select the USB
function.

Connect the USB device to the
(USB) port.

Press N (play) to start playback.
Other operations
To Do the following:
Pause playback Press X (pause). To resume
play, press X again.
Stop playback Press x (stop). To resume
play, press N (play)*

Select a folder Press (folder) +/–
repeatedly.
Select a file Press ./>.
Search a folder and
file
Press BACK during
playback, press M/m to
select the desired folder,
then press ENTER. Press
M/m to select the desired
file, then press ENTER.
Find a point in a file Hold down m/M during
playback, and release at the
desired point.
Select a memory on
the USB device*

Press OPTIONS, then press
ENTER. Press M/m
repeatedly to select the
desired memory number,
then press ENTER.
Select Repeat Play Press REPEAT repeatedly
until “REP” or “REP1”
lights up (page 48).
Select Shuffle Play or
Program Play
While playback is stopped,
press PLAY MODE
repeatedly until the desired
play mode (“SHUF,”
“PGM,” etc.) lights up
(page 48).
