Returning the Speaker
System and Recorder to
Their Default Settings
Resetting the speaker system
The following returns the speaker system settings
(for speakers, radio, etc.) to their defaults.
1 Press "/1 on the centre unit to turn on the
speaker system.
2 Hold down FUNCTION, and then press "/1
for about five seconds.
“COLD RESET” appears in the centre unit
display, and the speaker system settings return
to their defaults.
Resetting the recorder
You can reset the recorder to all its default
settings. Note that the [Parental Control], [Auto
Preset], [Clock], and [OSD] settings remain as
stored.
1 Set the AMP/DVD switch to DVD, and press
SET UP to turn on the Setup Display.
2 Select [Settings] and press ,.
3 Select [Factory Setup], and press ,.
4 Press ENTER while [Start] is selected.
The display asks for confirmation.
5 Select [OK] and press ENTER.
