e selected destination device setting is stored
in the unit and is recalled each time you use the
device in the future.
To change the destination device, enter the
Options menu and select [Transfer].

Select the albums, playlists, groups,
or tracks that you want to transfer,
and then select [Execute] or press
TRANSFER.
If you want to change the transfer settings
(page 38), make the changes rst before
selecting the items to be transferred.
To cancel a transfer
Press BACK
When you cancel a transfer, it may take a while
for the transfer to stop.
Notes
If your “WALKMAN” has the Trash Bin function and
any of the tracks to be deleted are registered in the
Trash Bin, a conrmation message will appear on the
unit and the “WALKMAN”.
If the playlist is transferred from the HDD Jukebox to
the “WALKMAN”, the playlist will also be recognized
as a playlist of the “WALKMAN”.
About track icons
You can identify the audio format of a track by its
icon.

Transferring audio data to a
USB storage device

Connect the USB storage device to
a USB port on the unit.
Refer to the operating manual of the USB
storage device as well.

Select the HDD JUKEBOX function.

Display the albums, playlists,
groups, or tracks that you want to
transfer.

Enter the Options menu and select
[Transfer le] – [Export] – [USB
storage].
If the storage medium selection display
appears, select the storage medium. (If the
connected USB storage device has only one
drive, then the storage medium selection
display does not appear.)

Select the albums, playlists, groups,
or tracks that you want to transfer,
and then select [Execute] or press
TRANSFER.
