Select [Address setting].
Check the following items.
Conrm that [Ethernet speed] is set to
[Automatic].
Conrm that [DHCP] is set to [All
auto]. e IP address will be obtained
automatically with this setting.
Note
You may need to enter the IP address manually,
depending on your Internet service provider. See
“Setting up the IP address/proxy server” (page 82)
for details.

Select [Check connections] in the network setting
display.
Tip
If the unit has diculty connecting to the broadband
router or a hub, selecting [100Mbps] or [10Mbps] in
step 5 sometimes solves the problem. Furthermore,
conrm the IP address setting (see “Conrming and
changing the network settings” on page 81).
